Student & User Guidelines

Overview: Student Accounts (`app/`, `app/s/`) enable personalized learning, focus tracking, E2EE study boards, exam attempts, and live classroom participation. This Policy details student rights, expectations, and account security.

1. Account Security & Credential Protection

Students must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials, passwords, and 2FA authentication tokens (`verify-2fa.php`). Accounts are non-transferable. You may not allow third parties to attempt tests, submit assignments, or access live classes using your credentials.

2. Learning Features & Consistency Tools

Students have access to study tools, including the Focus Timer (`app/user/timer.php`), Kanban study boards (`app/user/kanban.php`), Question Bank Journal (`app/user/qbe.php`), and cAI study hints:

  • Focus timer streaks and consistency badges reflect actual student study time. Manipulating client timers or falsifying activity logs is prohibited.
  • Private journal entries are protected via End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). Students must preserve their account passphrases to retain access to E2EE data.

3. Examination & Live Class Expectations

When participating in mock exams, Daily Practice Papers (DPPs), or Consisto Meet live classes:

  • Students must comply with the Academic Honor Code during tests and refrain from using unauthorized aids.
  • Attendance in live classes is recorded via automated 30-second presence heartbeats.
  • Student interaction in community forums or live chats must remain respectful and adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Account Deletion & 48-Hour Cooldown

Students may request account deletion at any time (`account.php`). Deletion requests enter a 48-hour recovery cooldown period, after which all profile data, encrypted blobs, and test submissions are permanently purged from database systems.
