School & Platform Administrator Guidelines
1. Institutional Onboarding & Verification
School Administrators registering an educational institution on Consisto represent that they possess official authority to onboard the institution, manage student rosters, and bind the school to these Terms and the Data Processing Agreement.
2. Roster Management & Data Controller Obligations
Educational institutions act as Data Controllers under DPDP and regional privacy frameworks. School Administrators are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate student and teacher account rosters (`school/students.php`, `school/teachers.php`).
- Obtaining required parental or institutional consents for student account creation.
- Promptly deauthorizing departing teachers or students to prevent unauthorized data access.
3. Institutional Storage Quota (10 GB Max)
Each school tenant is allocated a standard 10 GB institutional storage quota (`meet_recordings` / published educational assets):
- Storage usage is monitored automatically by system checks (`meet_check_school_storage_quota`).
- Institutions exceeding the 10 GB storage limit must archive or purge old recordings/files or upgrade storage allocation to upload additional media.
4. Billing, Invoices & Subscriptions
School subscription rates, student tier pricing, and invoices are generated automatically from active database records (`school/billing.php`, `te_school_payments`). Payments must be settled within standard net terms via designated payment channels (Razorpay).
5. Institutional Content & Moderation Oversight
School Administrators oversee institution-level content controls (`test-control`, `dpp-control`, `dha-control`, `community.php`) and participate in handling reported community violations or student ban appeals within their school scope.
